Case Study: Breathing New Life into TreeMama's Digital Presence

TreeMama, a platform dedicated to promoting nature discovery for urban families, had been facing significant issues with its website. With a dated theme, a clunky WPBakery Page Builder, and a pervasive malware problem, the site was throwing multiple errors and hindering content creation. The client also wanted to integrate an interactive React map into the site to display tree data like location, type, and number.

Challenges

Website Redesign: The old theme and the WPBakery Page Builder were outdated and error-prone, necessitating a full redesign of the website with a modern, robust page builder.
Security Issue: The website was infected with malware, posing a security risk that needed immediate remediation.
Integration of React Map: The client wanted an interactive React map displaying their listed tree data integrated into the site.

Solution

Revamping with Elementor: I chose the Salient theme and the Elementor page builder for a complete website overhaul. Salient is well-known for its sleek, modern design, and Elementor offers an intuitive, robust page building experience.
Sucuri Security Integration: I utilized Sucuri Website Security to harden the website against potential threats, thus successfully eliminating the malware and securing the site.
Interactive React Map Integration: For the React map, I created a standalone map from the React source and then used an iFrame to integrate it into the website.
